27. Januar 2023 Ceremony of Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism with Rozette Kats
The German Bundestag held a Ceremony of Remembrance on Friday, 27 January 2023 for the victims of National Socialism. Following an opening address by President of the Bundestag Bärbel Bas, Rozette Kats gave a commemorative speech. Kats was born in 1942 and survived the National Socialist dictatorship in the care of a married couple in Amsterdam. Her biological parents were murdered at Auschwitz. In addition, Klaus Schirdewahn spoke of the importance of remembering the sexual minorities persecuted under National Socialism.
