Lammert honours German-Israeli friendship

On Wednesday, 24 June 2015, President of the Bundestag Norbert Lammert spoke in the Knesset of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Federal Republic of German and Israel 50 years ago. In a speech to the Israeli parliament, he called the intensity of the friendly relations between the two countries a “miracle of history”. In Hebrew, Lammert said: “We are grateful for our friendship and proud of our partnership.”
